About This Game OverviewPlay through an engaging and emotional story set in a deep world full of its own original mythology and history. The universe and all its inhabitants have been reincarnated, but the world’s structure isn’t how it should be. Those who can dream are considered cursed in this society. You’ll solve the mysteries behind the Dreamers, and even enter into their Dreamspaces for unique, interesting areas to explore.Take advantage of the Dual Soul class system, switching between Pure and Veil classes in the heat of battle, to conquer challenging enemies and bosses.Note: The game has an optional 'Lucid Awakening 1 Primer' in-game that will tell you everything you need to know about Lucid Awakening 1. This way you can start off with Lucid Awakening 2.Find out more about the mythology here:The Worlds of Lucid Awakening 2Read more about the story here:Story OverviewDual Soul SystemZeke, Silas, and Terra have the ability to transform into various ‘Souls.’ These forms are actually the result of their bodies recreating past lives they lived in previous Epochs. Each of the three characters has their own unique set of Pure and Veil Souls they will obtain throughout the story. You can assign one Pure and one Veil Soul outside of battle, then freely switch between the two in battle. All enemies are also either Pure or Veil. Souls and enemies deal more damage to the opposing alignment but deal less damage to the same alignment. They will also receive more damage from the opposing alignment and take less damage from the same alignment.Read more about the Dual Soul System here:Dual Soul SystemOriginal character art by Coyotecraft. 7aa9394dea Title: Lucid Awakening 2Genre: Indie, RPGDeveloper:Momiji StudiosPublisher:Momiji StudiosRelease Date: 7 Jan, 2015 Lucid Awakening 2 Download] [portable Edition] This game is really good. I mean the game begins, a lot of story goes on, you discover many things in the game mechanics, transformations, skills... Its just the prologue?!Yep, you discovered a lot, fought a lot, mastered the mechanics. And you're still in the prologue. This of course means the game lasts, and as far as i went i didnt have a single boring moment.I Even liked watching Cyrill and Terra talk about the first game.Overall, my RPG Soul and this games awesomeness will loot it a 9\/10 rating so far.. From what I have played of the game so far it has been very enjoyable, the story is great so far, even coming with a little primer on the first game if you never played it. The story stands well on it's own even if you haven't played the first, definately check the primer to get filled in, makes a couple of things clearer. The job system is pretty fun aswell, allowing you to mix and match classes and roles with more being unlocked as you go along, it can be quite confusing at first however. You have to work out when to switch classes in battle, such as when an enemy is about to attack so you can absorb damage or when you need to use an ability and you have to think a couple of moves ahead, you can change the battle system to pause when you are making a move so you have plenty of time to think, or if you want a more hectic fast paced experience you can change it so that it doesn't pause on your turn similar to Final Fantasy 6.If I had to nitpick and find a downside I would say the environments are not interactable, I would like to be able to break into people house and see if they are hiding healing items under their plants or find out if their clock has stopped, if it was added it would make the game world feel more alive to me.Overall I think this is a very good game and I recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the earlier Final Fantasy games or Chrono Trigger to give this game a try, they might just find a new world to get lost in.. the story is a bit cliche but you still get suck into it, the 3 main characters have a lot of interractions with one another. The battle system while still turn based feel strategic and you can avoid battles if you really want to, the game is llinear until a certain point in the story. I had a few thingsthat bothered me and I`m sure a few others will have too: The heath bar of ennemies sometimes seem misplaced in battles making the ennemies hard to see at times. I just wished that the parts where npcs joined you were longer, i also had issues with one particular dungeon in the games. Theses negatives points doesn`t make the game not enjoyable in my humble opinion it`s a matter of preferences. The developer is also really open to his fans\/players and use their feedback to improve the game which is a big + for me. Do not hesitate if you like RPGS games, you will enjoy this garentee!!. Even though I had a few problems to start with I would still rate this 5\/5 because the developer was active and helpful. The game itself is reminicent of old RPG action adveture games with a strong feeling of final fantasy about it but it is easier to understand and follow the story. the entire thing is something I would expect to have come a large game development company not a indie developer working on his own. definitly worth the \u00a34 I paid.
